The BDS course runs along for a period of 4 years plus 1 year of compulsory internship. The first two years of the course include only educational training along with an introduction to pre-clinical laboratories in the second year. The third and fourth years include both academic training and clinical training. Subjects taught in the first two years are Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Dental materials, Dental Histology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Pre-clinical Conservative, and Prosthodontics. The third year includes subjects like General Surgery, General medicine, and Oral Pathology.
