Al Badar Dental College and Hospital is a private dental college. It was established in the year 1992. The total duration of the BDS course is 5 years, which is 4 academic years plus 1 year of mandatory rotatory internship. The eligibility criteria are the candidates :

The total duration of the MDS course is 3 academic years. The eligibility criteria are that the candidates :
- Should have passed the course of Bachelor Of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized dental college.
- Should be a registered dental practitioner in any State Dental Council.
- Students should register themselves in the Karnataka Exam Authority (KEA).

It is a central hub for information and knowledge. The library remains open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and remains closed on Sundays and government holidays. The library is Wi-Fi enabled and is under CCTV surveillance.
The college also provides separate hostels for boys and girls with each room being fully furnished with beds, study tables, and cupboards. Each hostel has a hot water facility, RO drinking water facility, Generator, Housekeeping, Security, and laundry facility.
The college also provides transportation facilities to and from the hostels. The hostel mess has a dining area with hygienic veg and non-veg food and special food is cooked and served during festivities. The hostel also provides with in-charge warden for 24 hours to maintain the safety of its residents.
The college campus also promotes sports and recreation facilities. It has separate grounds for cricket, football, and volleyball, a court for basketball, and a few indoor games.
To restrain the menace of ragging, the college has appointed an anti-ragging committee which comprises the Principal, the Vice-principal, and the hostel warden. The committee organizes routine checks and conducts orientation programs and counseling classes for its students.
The college organizes numerous outreach programs through the use of a Mobile Dental Van. The Mobile Dental Van is equipped as per DCI guidelines. It is used for providing screening and basic treatment procedures for rural areas.
The college has lecture theatres fully equipped with audio and visual aids. There is an auditorium for conferences, meetings, various events, seminars, and cultural events.
