The first 3 years of the BDS course train the students in basic subjects like Human Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, etc. The last year of BDS consists of dental-specialized subjects like Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Pedodontics, etc. The counselling process is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh.
The MDS course is entirely a dental specialization course and is for 3 years. The students are trained to be specialized professionals in their respective fields. The admission can be done only if the candidate obtains the qualifying score in the NEET-MDS entrance examination and also has completed their BDS from a recognized and approved dental college and is also a registered dental practitioner in a State Dental Council.
