Rishiraj College of Dental Science Bhopal is a unit of the LNCT Group of Colleges, the first private group in higher education. The college was established in 1994. It is affiliated with Barkatullah University, Bhopal, and is recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI). This college is one of the oldest colleges in Madhya Pradesh and one of the Top Dental Colleges situated in India.
The committed administration and faculty members of each department contribute towards the overall and all-round development of the students. The students are taught the best possible knowledge on each of the subjects. They are also trained to be able to professionally deliver top-notch healthcare to the people of the society.

Rishiraj College of Dental Science Bhopal offers both the BDS and MDS Courses, there are a total of 100 seats in BDS and 27 seats in MDS.
The duration of the BDS course is 5 years. The first 4 years include academics and practicals. The last year which is the internship year involves only clinical practice. The complete BDS degree is awarded only after the completion of the internship. The candidates seeking admission to the BDS course are required to qualify for the NEET-UG Entrance Examination and also must be 17 years of age.
The duration of the MDS course is 3 years. These three years comprise advanced learning and specializing in one of the significant branches in the field of dentistry. Admission to MDS courses can happen only after successful completion of the BDS degree from a recognized dental college. The candidates must also be registered dental practitioners in any State Dental Council. The entrance examination is conducted through the NEET-MDS examination.

The college has two community satellite dental clinics in two villages namely; Gondermau and J.K. Hospital, Bhopal. These clinics provide outreach dental services to the rural community. Internships for a few days are mandatory in these clinics for the students to get enough exposure and also to build healthy relationships with the community. Oral Health Education and Promotion is also practiced here. Basic oral hygiene instructions along with dental treatment are offered to all the patients for better oral health care development of the rural population in the 2 centers.
The college is part of the Student Exchange Program with the International Medical University, Malaysia.
The library and the information centres contribute to the college’s excellent research work. The library of the college contains textbooks, reference books, magazines, newsletters, and national and international journals. The library also has facilities for photocopying, an electronic media section, and a Xerox facility.
There are separate campuses for boys and girls hostel. The hostels are adequately furnished. Clean drinking water is available along with hot water during the winter season. Washrooms are common. The hostel rooms are mostly double-bedded. The hostels are supervised by a male and a female warden for boys and girls hostel respectively. The hostels also have a mess facility that offers food three times a day.
The college has transportation facilities for the students as well as the faculty and the non-teaching staff members. A canteen is situated within the campus for healthy snacks and other food items. The college has facilities for various sports activities.
There is a digital entry portal system for entering the patient’s data. The portal system uses the technology of Electronic Health Records and Telemedicine.
